The Board of Rurelec plc (AIM: RUR.L) has been informed, due to the recent increase in the Company's issued share capital, of the following holdings:
Invesco Limited, through which the voting rights and/or the financial instruments are effectively held by the Bank of New York and JP Morgan Chase, is interested in 5,400,000 ordinary shares of 0.02p ("Ordinary Shares") each, representing 2.62% of the Company's issued share capital;
Independent Power Corporation PLC is interested in 25,000,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 12.17% of the issued share capital;
The Tudor BVI Global Portfolio LLP, which is an investment fund advised by members of the Tudor Group of Companies, is interested in 4,815,500 Ordinary Shares. This holding equates to below 3% of the Company's issued share capital;
Legal & General Group Plc which includes Legal & General Investment Management (Holdings) Limited, Legal & General Assurance (Pensions Management) Limited, Legal & General Insurance Holdings Limited, Legal & General Assurance Society Limited and Legal & General Pensions Limited ("Group"), through which the voting rights and/or the financial instruments are effectively held both indirectly and directly, is interested in a total of 11,935,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 5.81% of the Company's issued share capital;
F & C Asset Management plc, through which the voting rights and/or the financial instruments are effectively held by Stewardship Inv Funds ICVC Stewardship Income Fund is interested in 5,367,000 Ordinary Shares, representing 2.61% of the Company's issued share capital;
BlackRock UK Smaller Companies Fund is interested in 3,326,926 Ordinary Shares, representing 1.62% of the Company's interested share capital;
AXA S.A., through which the voting rights and/or financial instruments are effectively held by AXA IM UK, is interested in 13,355,327 Ordinary Shares representing approximately 6.50% of the Company's issued share capital;
Gartmore Investment Limited, through which the voting rights and/or financial instruments are effectively managed by Gartmore Fund Managers Limited and Gartmore Investment Limited, is interested in 13,957,749 Ordinary Shares representing 6.795% of the Company's issued share capital.
